My name is Mitch Larson.  I'm just a dad with decades of experience in the technology industry, specializing in portable product support, electronics engineering and production management.  I have a long history in customer support and technical team management. I'm also a proud father of a daughter and husband of 29 years and counting.  I decided to change course and get away from corporate life, striking out to become my own boss and help others the best way I can.

Being an avid DIYer since my first apartment, and having repaired everything from a hole in drywall to rebuilding engines and restoring vintage appliances, I decided being a handyman might be a good and satisfying trade to apply my knowledge in.

At my core, I’m a problem-solver. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a tool in my hand, tinkering and fixing things. I started by repairing bicycles for neighborhood kids—changing tires, fixing frames, and swapping out parts. Over the years, my passion for repair grew to include vehicles, motorcycles, tractors, lawn equipment, and more. It wasn’t just about making things work again—it was about saving money, learning new skills, and finding satisfaction in hands-on solutions.

As a homeowner, I’ve learned the ins and outs of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, drywall, and even water and fire damage remediation. Whether it's maintaining my own home or helping friends with theirs, this practical knowledge is something I rely on daily.

Professionally, I hold a degree in Electronics Engineering with a focus on Robotics. This background gave me a deep understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting—skills that have served me well throughout my career and personal life.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about restoring vintage appliances, furniture, and cars. Whether it’s painting, woodworking, metalworking, or engine repair, I’ve always loved getting my hands dirty and bringing new life to old things. My hobbies keep me grounded and continually teach me new things.

On a personal level, I understand that life can be difficult. Like everyone, I’ve faced loss, watched loved ones age, and seen friends struggle with illness. These experiences have driven me to help others—whether it's baby-proofing a home for new parents or making modifications for elderly family members to prevent falls. There’s something deeply rewarding in making people’s lives safer and more comfortable, and it’s a cause I take to heart.
